The Badlands
The landscapes of Alberta's Badlands never cease to amaze me. A vulture soars in the bright blue sky during a hot afternoon above striped cliffs. Measures 8 x 10 inches and is on a stretched canvas (staples on the back), with the image continuing on the sides.
$180 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Hummingbird - June 2006
A gold hummingbird hovers above some pink flowers. A lovely spring painting. Acrylic on 8 x 10" canvaspaper.
Painting is framed using archival materials.
$200 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Gold Crane - 2006
A gold crane lifts off from the ground amidst a pine forest. I painted this based on a Sandhill Crane I saw when I was child out berry-picking. I wandered into a field and startled a crane, he flew up gracefully, calling out "Karoo, karoo" as he went. Acrylic on 9 x 12" canvaspaper.
Framed using archival materials.
$225 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Geese at Sunset
I love geese, they're difficult not to admire as they fly in large flocks with their strong wings cutting through the air. They are an eternal sign of the endlessly flowing seasons. A flock of geese fly home to rest for the night. Behind them, a half moon glows, and the clouds are underlit with purple from the last traces of the setting sun. Painting measures 6 x 8 inches and is finished with a glossy varnish. It is matted with a grey matte and framed with a solid black frame. All materials used are archival.
$200 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Martin - January 2005
A purple martin feathers flash silver in warm sunlight. Silver dots his wings and tail feathers. Acrylic on 9 x 12" canvaspaper.
Framed in a reddish-brown wood frame using archival materials. Frame and matting match Tree Swallow. I offer a $50 refund via PayPal if you want to purchase both paintings.
$225 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Swallow - January 2005
A swallow is caught in mid-flight. Silver dots his wings and tail feathers. Acrylic on 9 x 12" canvaspaper.
Framed in a reddish-brown wood frame to match Purple Martin. All materials used are archival. I offer a $50 refund via PayPal if you would like to purchase both paintings.
$225 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.

Blue Swallow - September 2008
Another style swallow similar to the first two, but this one has a more abstract background suggestive of the speed these amazing little birds fly with. Acrylic, metallic paint, and antique stain on 8 x 10" canvaspaper.
Painting is framed using archival materials.
$200 US includes shipping to locations within Continental North America.
